What is return policy?

At Dermedica, we are always in constant search to provide you with the highest quality and clinically proven products for our customers. We want you to be happy ordering and using the our products with a peace of mind. We have implemented a fair and hassle fee return policy on change of mind, faulty or incorrectly ordered product.

Change of mind or an adverse reaction

No worries! If you change your mind about your purchase, there is a no question ask policy.

  • If you change your mind, the products can only be exchanged or refunded if the product is NOT used/opened or damaged. In this case we do not cover return postage. You must notify us ASAP within 14 days of your order.
  • We will only accept unused/unopened return products within 30 days.
  • The customer will be responsible for postage fees for return of the change of mind products.
  • For Dermedica to accept change of mind returns, please contact skincare@dermedica.com.au within 30 days of receiving the products. We need to approve this return before you post it back to us.
  • Please ensure you bubble wrap the products so that it is not damaged in transit. Damaged products will not be exchanged.
  • All products return must be unopened. Due to Health and Safety regulations, once products are opened they cannot be returned except as provided for in the consumer law.

Faulty and incorrect product

We will do our best to pack and ship your products with the utmost care. However there may be times when an item is damaged in transit. When your order arrives, please inspect the product for any damage that may occurred during the shipping process.

  • If your order is damaged, please contact us within 14 days to organise a replacement or a full refund. Your return postage will be refunded. Dermedica online shop will redeliver your replacement for free.
  • Please ensure you bubble wrap the products so that it is not damaged in transit. Damaged products will not be exchanged.
  • Your satisfaction with the purchase is important to us. If you are not satisfied with the product please do not hesitate to email us on skincare@dermedica.com.au within 14 days of receiving the product to discuss this further.

All returns

  • All returns need authorisation from Dermedica. Any return sent to us without an authorisation will not be accepted.
  • All returns will be subject to inspection by the Dermedica staff before refund or exchange is approved.
  • All faulty products returned must not be more than 80% used.
  • Dermedica is not responsible for the goods lost or damaged in transit. Please ensure you ship your goods that is trackable and with insurance.
  • Dermedica takes its satisfaction guaranteed pledge seriously. If you are not happy with the product, please do email us at skincare@dermedica.com.au within 14 days so we can talk about this further. Our friendly staff are here to answer any queries you may have with regards to your order.

What is your shipping policy?

  • Order over $50 and $84.99 (inc GST) will qualify for FREE standard post delivery within Australia or opt for Express post with shipping fee of $11.
  • Order under $50 (inc GST), you have a choice of Standard (Shipping fee $7.95) or Express post (Shipping fee $11) within Australia
  • Order over $85 (inc GST) will qualify for free express post delivery within Australia

EXPRESS POST (within Australia) is a quicker method of delivery. Expected delivery time is between 1 to 5 BUSINESS days depending on your delivery address proximity to the Express Post networks .

STANDARD POST (within Australia) is a standard delivery by Australia Post. The delivery time can take 5 to 10 BUSINESS days depending on your delivery address.

Delivery is via Australia post.

The items ordered will ship as they become available. Once your order has been given to Australia Post, you will receive a shipment notification email with an estimated delivery date. This is calculated based on distance from the warehouse location to your address.

All estimated delivery times include only major metropolitan areas – Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Please ensure you provide the correct contact details and delivery address.
If you do not receive your products within 3 weeks from the purchase date please email skincare@dermedica.com.au.

International delivery

Purchases over $255 (inc GST) will qualify for FREE standard delivery or $45 for international registered express post
DUTIES: International customers outside of Australia will be responsible for payment of any applicable duties when the order arrives at your destination. If you refuse the items at the time of delivery, you will still be charged for the shipping and the return charges. For more information you must contact your local authority for custom duties and other applicable fees/taxes.

Purchases under $255 (inc GST): the postage fee is $40 for standard registered post or $65 for express registered post.

Delivery will take up to 3 weeks from the date of dispatch within the capital cities.

What’s the difference between over-the-counter skincare products sold in retail stores and medical-grade products?

* Cosmeceutical-grade skincare products can contain 50-80 % higher concentration of active ingredients than retail shop products. This is the reason when you purchase products from our shop we monitor your progress very closely.

* Cosmeceutical-grade skincare products are formulated with more sophistication regarding the chemistry of the skin.

* Cosmeceutical-grade skincare products can end up costing less than department store products because of their effectiveness.

Over the counter skincare products can take as longer to show any effects. By contrast, cosmeceutical-grade skincare products can begin changing your skin in the first couple of week.

 

How do I organise a free skincare consult with our skincare advisor?

Is there a cancellation fee after I made an order?

There is no cancellation fee when you cancel your order and we have not sent the products to you.

Once the order is sent to you and you change you r mind, the return postage is at your cost.

What can I do if I got a skin reaction from the product?

Please ensure you choose the products carefully before buying. Do not buy any similar or same products that you had a prior skin reactions. If unsure, please contact us (skincare@dermedica.com.au or 0892051995) to discuss your requirements.

If you reacted to the skincare products that you purchased from Dermedica, please contact us immediately and see your local doctor for an assessment.

Who should I contact if I get a reaction or faulty product?

Please contact Dermedica immediately if you product is faulty or you had a reaction from the product you purchased from us.

If you reaction from the product is severe, you need to see you local doctor for an assessment.

How many days do I have to return a faulty product?

You have 14 days to return a faulty product. The faulty product must not be used. If the content of the product is less than 80% full, we may not issue a refund or exchange the product.
